Waste collection interrupted across Kempton Park

Delays stem from ongoing negotiations between the City and the waste removal service provider operating in the affected areas.

The City of Ekurhuleni has said it is urgently attending to the waste removal service interruptions affecting residents in Thembisa and Kempton Park since Tuesday, November 18.

According to the spokesperson Zweli Dlamini, the delays stem from ongoing negotiations between the City and the waste removal service provider operating in the affected areas.

“The City appeals for patience while efforts continue to resolve the matter.”

Residents are encouraged to keep domestic waste on their properties for the time being or, where possible, make use of the nearest mini-dump sites within their neighbourhoods.
