Friends of the Library showcase creativity at annual scrapping exhibition
Following a well-attended 2025 showcase and prize-giving, the Scrapping Hobby Club is encouraging scrapbookers of all skill levels to join its monthly workshops held at Birchleigh-North Library.
The Friends of the Library recently held an exhibition showcasing their 2025 work, followed by a prize-giving ceremony at the Scrapping Hobby Club.
The club, which has space for new members, hopes to attract more people to join and experience the joys of scrapbooking.
The Scrappers host workshops on arranging photographs in creative, attractive layouts for personal albums.
Workshops are held on the third Saturday of each month, from 12:30 to 16:30.

Participants are asked to bring their own equipment, and detailed instructions are emailed.
Membership costs R50 per annum, with a R30 fee at the door for non-members.
Beginners, novices and advanced scrappers are all welcome.
