Meat World celebrates eight years with Thembisa store relaunch

Thembisa residents gathered for the relaunch of the newly refreshed Meat World store at Kaalfontein Corner.

Meat World Thembisa officially relaunched its store at Kaalfontein Corner on February 28, marking eight years of serving the community with a refreshed look, in-store specials and a full day of entertainment.

The relaunch introduced a new look and feel, without changing the atmosphere, service or quality that customers have come to expect.

Ricky, who preferred not to disclose further personal details for safety reasons, said Thembisa holds a special place in his heart.
“The biggest highlight of my years in this area is Thembisa.

“The community relies on us for the best meat, and with this relaunch, they can still expect the best quality. We have the same good prices and quality. Without Thembisa, we wouldn’t be here,” he said.

He explained that discussions about revamping the store began when the business celebrated its fifth anniversary.

“It was not because we were unhappy with what we offered, but because we wanted to bring a different atmosphere and show the community that we care about them.

“We want residents to experience a new vibe. As we all know, people get tired of the same thing over time. After eight years, this is just a change in look and feel; the service remains the same.”

The relaunch was warmly received by the community, particularly shoppers who were treated to various gifts from different companies and generous meat samples.

The Meat World team also organised activities for children, including live wrestling, jumping castles, a photo booth and music entertainment by DJ Zan D.

“Ever since we started here in Thembisa, the reception has been very good. Our social media comment section is always filled with happy memories and positive shopping experiences, which is exactly what we want.

“We will continue to provide the quality service the community requires, and they can continue to rely on us as they always have,” Ricky added.
