Kempton Park resident Yolandi Swart is inviting residents to take part in a potjiekos competition on August 29 to help raise funds for four-year-old Basson Steenkamp.
The competition will take place at Palm Springs Shopping Centre, 30 Christoffel Street, Van Riebeeck Park, from 09:00 to 16:00.
Entry costs R150 per pot, with limited space available.

Swart said 10% of the event’s income will be contributed towards Basson’s medical expenses.
“The purpose of the event is to step in and assist with raising funds for Basson Steenkamp, who needs medical funds. We are contributing 10% of all income from the event,” she said.
