First times at anything are a bit daunting. But I am here. Here at a place of my heart’s desire. Here at a place of pure joy and great contentment.
I had dreamt of this place before. All I could do was dream, that’s what us ‘backroom’ children do. We dream of a world beyond these four walls. Finding that one door that would open up to our desires. But the wonder lingered like a dirty sock smell. And the ideology fed this fear-filled fire. Would I ever be the woman I had imagined or was the door better left closed than open?
The truth is that I would never know if I didn’t try. Stepping into the unknown and the excitement that holds its hand is a force that moves me to pursue. A force that has been my positive attraction.
Ever looked at the surface of a pool and tried to look past it to see what lies below? What lies below can only be seen once we decide to plunge through the surface. Believing in the fact that we were born with everything that we were intended to be within us.
An egg is just egg yolk and egg white, but it has everything it needs within it, in the right time, to become a chicken. In the right time, with the right pressure, you will become all that you are intended to be. You are being cooked, burnt to perfection. You are being prepared, molded and carved.
So say you are here, you have arrived. Arrived to platform of the purpose you were created for. A Purpose to be fulfilled. Fulfilled by the courage to plunge. Plunging into the change you want to see.
I took the plunge, now I am here.
