Resident calls out CoE and Eskom

The food in refrigerators and freezers is rotting as a result of the outages and appliances are also malfunctioning.

Editor – Could someone please explain why Kempton Park is having such severe outages?
No other part of Gauteng is having these ridiculously long outages.
The food in refrigerators and freezers is rotting as a result of the outages and appliances are also malfunctioning.
Is the City of Ekurhuleni or Eskom going to pay me to fix my gate or buy me a new fridge as these outages are damaging the utilities?
Why we are still expected to pay the same amount for electricity while the municipality hardly checks the meters?
Last year, we hardly had any outages so what is the problem this year?
Why is everyone just accepting this outrageous state of affairs? I am sick of it.
G de Waal.
