Touch rugby begins
The new Monday night league kicks off with grading games on February 3
THE Wellington’s East Rand Touch Rugby Tournament took place over the December holidays at Kempton Park Cricket Club.
Teams from the East Rand and Johannesburg faced off against each other in a tough round robin pool phase.
In the final, visitors, The Tyrants from Greenside, walked away with the first prize and title.
The new Monday night league kicks off with grading games on February 3.
A corporate league has been added to the existing division 1 and 2 leagues. Games are 20 minutes a half and squads are limited to a maximum of
eight players.
