More training for tough Dusi marathon

THE training race for the Dusi at Homestead Dam on Saturday was well supported.
One of the worlds toughest endurance river canoe marathons, the Dusi, is taking place in just two weeks time.
The training was well supported by local Gauteng canoeists as well as Ekurhuleni Municipality.

Sowetans Loveday Zondi with Thando Ngamlana won the race in 1 hour 43 minutes, with second place taken by Victoria Lake Canoe Club’s Thembi Ngcobo partnered with Tom Ngcobo.
The Germiston Lake based development coach Richard Cele with Nhlanhla Cele finished third.
