Cancer Challenge targets another record
100 golfers will qualify for the finals at the Gary Player Country Club and Lost City Golf Course at Sun City from October 20-21

IN March the Sanlam Cancer Challenge tees off its 22nd year as South Africa’s biggest charitable sporting event.
Over 36 000 golfers took to the fairways at clubs around South Africa in 2013 to help raise a record R3,3-million for the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA). This contributes half the amount needed for annual research into cancer and possible cures.
Registrations are now open at www.sanlamcancerchallenge.co.za for the 2014 series, which will begin in March with roughly 800 club competitions, followed by regional competitions to determine the 100 golfers who will qualify for the finals at the Gary Player Country Club and Lost City Golf Course at Sun City from October 20-21.
The Sanlam Cancer Challenge enables club golfers anywhere in the country to do something positive and make a real impact through the game they love.
Since its inception in 1993, the Sanlam Cancer Challenge has raised over R33-million for CANSA.
