Sharp shooting sisters

The sisters are passionate about shooting and both had the honour of competing at the SANSSU 2013 National Championships in Florida

SAVANNAH and Nikita Malan achieved outstanding results at the Gauteng Target Rifle Association’s first league shoot at Durban Deep Rifle Range in January.

The sisters, who are learners at Birchleigh High School,competed in the U/16 and U/14 sporter class discipline (3P and standing) respectively, and between them, achieved four medals.

Savannah won two gold medals and Nikita one gold and one silver.

The sisters are passionate about shooting and both had the honour of competing at the SANSSU 2013 National Championships in Florida. During 2013 they together won 26 medals at various school events.

In 2014 they will compete at all events of the South African Air Rifle Association as well as South African National Schools Shooters Union.
