Aerobatics show at Barnstormers
There is no entry fee for spectators and food and drink will be for sal
THE third club aerobatics event of 2014 will take place at Barnstormers Radio Controlled Model Aircraft Club on June 7.
Club aerobatics is a fun event with competition flying between air planes and helicopters, all doing the same routine. The judge can be bribed and there is running commentary, letting spectators know what is expected from the pilots.
Afterward there will be speed flying, noise check, helicopter demo flights doing crazy flying and a Quad-copter demo.
There is no entry fee for spectators. Food and drink will be for sale, so bring the family for a fun filled day out.
Pilots wanting to participate in the club aerobatics pay only R50, and if you are doing CA, remember to bring a bribe.
The event starts at 8am but if a spectator, 9am would be good. Speed flying will start around 1.30pm with other flights in between.
The event is being sponsored by Hobby Centre Kempton Park.
For more details, call the organiser, Van Zyl Koegelenberg, on 083-659-4381.
Barnstormers is 4km from the R21 on the left heading towards Bapsfontein on the R25, before the Marister/Bredell turn-off.
