Karatekas compete at Gallaxy Challenge

KEMPTON Park Karate Club (ISFO) took part in the Galaxy Challenge hosted by the International Sport Fighting Organisation at the indoor sport centre on May 31. Front: Hulisani Mphaphuli (3rd kata), Christopher van Tonder (3rd kata), Juhann Duarté (4th kata, 3rd semi, 4th light), Neo Mkhwanazi (1st kata) and Brandon Kennedy (1st kata, 1st semi). Middle: Sempei Suné Stroiz (2nd kata, 1st semi, 1st light), Suné Coetzer (2nd kata), Angelique Johnson (1st kata, 1st semi), Zuné Waters (2nd kata, 2nd semi, 2nd light) and Carla Coetzer (4th Kata). Back: Sensei Daniel Mangoejane (1st kata, 1st kumite, 1st semi, 1st light), Shihan Willem Kruger (instructor/referee), Anton van Wyk (2nd kata, 4th semi), Protus Gamede (coach), Keagan Duncan (4th kata), and sensei Juan-Paul Kruger (2nd kata).
