Hekkie “The Hexecutioner” Budler off to defend his world titles in Monte Carlo

The world champion will go up against Thai boxer, Pigmy Kokietgym at the KO at the Casino Tournament

CLOSE family and friends gathered at OR Tambo International Airport on June 14 to see off World Champion boxer, Hekkie “The Hexecutioner” Budler, as he prepared to travel to Monte Carlo to defend his WBAand IBO straw weight titles.

The 26-year-old Budler, who weighs in at 47kg, will go up against Thai boxer Pigmy Kokietgym at the KO at the Casino Tournament on June 21.

Budler admitted that he still gets nervous just before a fight, which is quite surprising for someone who enjoys a career of 25 wins and only one loss.

TOV Cleaning Services, which sponsors Budler, organised for a heartfelt send off with many well-wishes from friends and fans.

Budler was joined by his trainer, Colin Nathan of Hot Box Gym, to Monte Carlo and TOV director, Obert Makondo, will join the two along with other members of TOV to support Budler in France.
