Genius beat opponents 5-0
Genius FC kept their title hopes alive when they defeated La Liga FC 5-0 during a Tembisa Masters Social League game.
The match was played at the Sqongweni Sports Grounds on Sunday.
Genuis FC started the game well, forcing their opponents to play with their backs against the wall. It came as no surprise when Genius FC’s reliable striker Katlego Loke, a former Jomo Cosmos player, scored two goals in 18 minutes. Mafika Sibeko, a former Orlando Pirates and Supersport player, scored a third goal after he received a well-timed pass from Ngwako Leso.
Motlatsi Moshanyana increased his team’s lead with a fourth goal, shortly before half time.
In the second half, Moshanyana scored another goal, after receiving a good pass from Marcus Mphafudi, a former Moroka Swallows player.
La Liga ‘s attempts to score were fruitless and the match ended with the score 5-0.
