A Terenure resident hopes to establish a new football club in the city.
Christopher Tshabalala, who has been living here for five years now, says he has not come across a football club that unites residents or represent unity in Kempton Park.
“I like soccer with all my heart and the honest truth is, I would like to see, one day in the near future, to have a football club from our vicinity in the PSL league. I truly believe Kempton Park has talented footballers who just lack exposure,” he said.
He requests anyone interested to assist and help with donations of soccer kit. Any help or kind of support will be appreciated.
“I will engage with the municipality to use the local stadium for practice.”
Talented footballers from 16 to 30 years can join the club. Any race group is welcome.
