THIS year’s Oliver and Adelaide Tambo Liberation Walk on Saturday was a festival of colours, smiles and even cramps and sore feet from all the running and walking. Even the mayor, Mondli Gungubele, ran the 21km race, which started at OR Tambo Airport and finished at Dries Niemandt Park. The walk turned four this year and was themed Education Liberates, in honour of Oliver and Adelaide Tambo’s commitment towards education. Here are all the enthusiastic participants at the start of the 5km fun run.
