THE Maxima All Styles Fighting National Challenge took place in October at the Portuguese Hall in Johannesburg, hosting about 500 fighters from many different fighting styles from all over South Africa. The contestants were matched according to their level of experience, as well as in age groups for juniors and weight groups for seniors. Local ISFO fighters that participated were, front: Henrico Jordaan (3rd semi contact), Sybrandt van Niekerk (2nd semi contact), Ruan Wolmarans (1st semi contact), Shihan Danie du Plessis (coach) and Brittany Crocker (1st semi contact and 2nd light continuous). Back: Westley van der Walt (1st semi contact), Gerhard van Niekerk (1st semi contact veterans, 3rd semi contact senior men), Marc St Arnaud (1st light continuous and 3rd semi contact), Magda van Niekerk (1st semi contact) and Claude St Arnaud (2nd semi contact).
