Gogos receive new soccer kit

Tsogang Basadi FC received a shot in the arm when they received brand new soccer kit from ABI at the Makhulong Stadium recently.

The team’s coach, Mr Kenneth Sithagu, said they would like to thank the sponsors for helping the team with soccer kit.

“Many sponsors are not interested in women’s football, let alone Gogos’ football. We are really struggling with things like balls and transport. We are happy and would like to promise ABI that we are going to do our best to be the best Gogos’ team in the country,” he said.

ABI’s ambassador for central Gauteng, Mr Elvis Saohatse, said it is part of the company’s social responsibility programme to plough back into the communities that are supporting them.

“It feels good for us to be able to help the Gogos in their efforts to keep fit and healthy by participating in sport. We believe this is the beginning of a good working relationship between ABI and the community of Tembisa,” he said.
