The 37 members and seven visitors caught 262 fish with a total weight of 425.85kg
AVION Angling Club kicked of this year’s monthly competitions at Riviera, Vaal Dam on January 3.
The 37 members and seven visitors caught 262 fish with a total weight of 425.85kg.
The results in the different categories were:
Seniors: 1. Steve Mynhard (24 fish, 38.06kg). 2. Ronnie Slater (18 fish, 26.5kg). 3. Rainer Jonischkeit (15 fish, 26.27kg).
Masters: 1. Johan Terblanche (14 fish, 23.62kg). 2. Phillip van der Westhuizen (6 fish, 16kg). 3. Percy Dickson (6 fish, 11.07kg).
Women: 1. Martie Frier (9 fish 17.65kg). 2. Madeleine Jonischkeit (11 fish, 13.63kg). 3. Veronica Pruis (6 fish, 10.37kg).
Juniors: 1. Johan Terblanche (21 fish, 37.35kg). 2. Nikita Hattingh (2 fish, 4.64 kg). 3. Zelda Hatting (1 fish, 0.31kg).
Penkoppe: 1. Blaine Roux (1 fish, 2.23 kg). 2. Marko Smith (1 fish, 2.16kg). 3. Dyllian Smith (1 fish, 1.56kg).
