Two conquer tough cycle race

KEMPTONIANS, Perren Miles and his team mate, Henning Snymancompleted the TransCape MTB race between Knysna and Franschhoek recently.

Miles and Henning, along with the rest of the intrepid cyclists in the field, were tested to the limit as the gruelling seven-day stage race took them along a route of nearly 750km, requiring them to traverse the Rooiberg Pass, a section of the Klein Karoo, the Langeberg Mountains, Garcia Pass, the Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve, Bontebok National Park, Riviersonderend mountains, Groenlandberg and Franschhoek Pass along the way to the finish line in Franschhoek.
