Try Again wins again

Try Again FC walloped Berthary Private School 5-2 in a Tembisa United Football Association (TUFA) league game.

The match was played at a rain-soaked Hospital View Sports Grounds on Sunday.

Despite the rain, both teams played an open game from the start, but struggled with the weather conditions.

Players had to pick the ball out from large pools of water throughout the game.

In the second half, the game had to be stopped for at least 15 minutes due to heavy rain. Play continued when the rain eased up a little.

Try Again’s hat-trick hero, Terrence Leshaba, opened his account only five minutes into the game when he hammered a volley from the right flank into the net.

He scored his second goal in the dying minutes of the first half before Kamokgelo Mosehla managed to reduced the margin to make it 2-1 at half-time.

Johannes Temi increased the margin when he scored with a beautiful header from Leshaba’s cross.

Mosehla reduced the margin again when he beat the ‘keeper with a rocket.

Leshaba completed his hat-trick when he dribbled past four players before curling the ball into the top corner to make the score 4-2.

Temi put the final nail into his opponents’ coffin when he chipped in the last goal with only three minutes left of the match.
