Tournament aims to expose talent
The Motshana FC Community Games will host its second annual sports tournament.
Mr Lordwick Motshana, the organiser of the games, said only the junior teams in soccer, netball and athletics are expected to take part in the tournament.
Teams in the U/13 age group are also expected to compete.
The tournament will be held at the Reagile Primary School Sports Grounds and will run from May 9 until May 30.
Prizes are up for grabs for the top four teams in each category.
Mr Motshana said the aim of the tournament is to expose talent in the community.
“We want to contribute significantly to the development of athletes and young football and netball players in the area. This is the platform to expose their talent. We encourage local teams to take part and we ask that residents will support the games,” he added.
All teams interested in taking part can contact Mr Lordwick Motshana 082 549 1130 for more information.
