High octane oval racing at The Rock Raceway

Gates will open at 10am and racing will start at 4pm

THE Rock Raceway in Brakpan will come alive with high octane power as all the favourite drivers will hotfoot around the 400m circuit in various disciplines on Saturday.

Plenty V8 slide ways action from the Outlaw V8 Sprints and Lexus V8s will fulfil the adrenalin rushed patrons as they roar around the circuit for the ultimate prize of first place. Rotary fans will be in for another treat as the flame spitting Rotary Super Midgets will be screaming around the circuit.

A host of oval saloons classes will also be racing, including the 1600 stock rods,1660 modified saloons, Pinto classes and super saloons. Open wheelers will include the Ninja Kids In Racing SA ages 3-12, 100cc micro midgets, 125 karts and Formula 2 midgets.

Adrenalin high speed action from the Formula N circuit cars will keep you riveted to your seats as the saloon car drivers jostle for positions around the tricky race circuit. With plenty of chicanes and tight corners passing each other can be hair raising at the best of times but very entertaining for the crowds none the less.

Gates will open at 10am and racing will start at 4pm. Tickets cost R65 adults, R30 children 6-12 and R40 for embankment parking.

Sufficient food and refreshments will be on sale at the circuit.
