Kempton FC’s seniors on the march

Du Preez scored his fifth goal in five games

KEMPTON Park Football Club’s first team had two great wins the past week.

They dispatched Uniao 5-3 in the week with goals from Thabani Masilela (2), Grant Terrey, Kia Woolff and an own-goal.

They then triumphed over second-placed Benoni Northerns 2-1, with goals from Masilela and Woolff.

The reserves bounced back from their 4-2 defeat at Uniao (own goal and Clive du Preez) with a 1-0 victory over Northerns. Du Preez scored his fifth goal in five games.

The third team blitzed Old Bens 5-0 but the fourths were on the back end of a 7-0 thrashing from Bonaero 74.

The KOBs dropped their first points of the season, drawing 2-2 with Germiston but still remain top of their league. Tyrone Young scored both goals, adding to his tally of goals for the club.
