Swimmers win medals at regionals

This was their first season of participating in a competitive field

A small squad of ESP/Kempton club swimmers, who train under McGee’s School of Swimming, qualified to participate in the South African Regional Championships at Ellis Park.

Kaylin Murrin (13) won two medals, a gold medal in the 50m freestyle and a silver in the 50m breaststroke.

Rudi Botha (11) won a bronze medal in the 200m breaststroke. He also made the finals in both the 50m and 100m breaststroke.

Bernelee Doster, Anro Vorster and Arno Joubert recorded personal best times in a number of their events.

This was their first season of participating in a competitive field.
