Kemptonians in line for prestigious sports awards

This year the interest showed by residents and various sports federations was overwhelming

SEVERAL Kempton Park sportmen, club and schools are in line for awards at the annual Ekurhuleni Sports Awards in Alberton on May 27.

Alberton Civic Hall will be adorned with all the glitz and glamour as the executive mayor, Clr Mondli Gungubele, honors sportsmen and women who represent South Africa on international stages.

This year the interest showed by residents and various sports federations was overwhelming and the adjudicators were faced with a challenging task to select the finalists from the scores of nominations.

Three nominees have been selected for each category and the winners will be announced during the ceremony.
The finalists in the various categories are:
