Sizzling winter tournament planned

Dibo Diski Winter Games will hold a soccer tournament on June 27.

Tournament organiser, Mr Bonginkosi Nyembe, said they are inviting U/15 and U/17 soccer teams to join the winter games.

“We want to keep youngsters off the streets during the school holidays.

“We are encouraging the existing teams to take part in the tournament,” he said.

Mr Nyembe added that registration for the tournament is open.

“There will be prizes to be won, such as a trophy and medals, among other prizes. We welcome everybody who would like to participate in the games,” he said.

The winter games tournament will take place at the Esangweni Sports Grounds.
