Tjaart Mentz, a player in the u-12 super league side, was named as the team’s and club’s junior player of the season.
The all-rounder from Laerskool Impala finished the season on 424 runs. All these runs came from 240 balls being faced in six innings.
He scored four consecutive half centuries with his highest score being 133 runs from 57 balls.
He finished the season with a batting strike rate of 176 and an average of 141.
He also bowled 27 overs, taking 10 wickets for 82 runs.
