Jonischkeit wins Avion’s angling comp

Rainer Jonischkeit (6 fish, 7.23kg) won the senior section of Avion Angling Club’s August competition hosted at Lazyview Vaal River.

Second was Riekus Niemand (1 fish, 3.74kg) and third Kobus Bakker (2 fish, 1.41kg).

The masters winner was Theuns Smit (4 fish, 11.42kg), followed by Phillip van der Westhuizen (1 fish, 5.16kg) and Johan Troskie (1 fish, 0.73kg).

Madeleine Jonischeit (5 fish, 4.64kg) won the women’s competition and Michael du Toit (2 fish, 0.85kg) the Penkoppe.
