Club encourages fitness and healthy living
Bila has been has been training people for the past three years
Fitness and Wellness Aerobics Club invites the residents of Ivory Park to embark on a fitness course with the aim of keeping fit and improving the quality of their health.
The fitness classes take place at Ivory Park’s Kopanong Sports Ground everyday with morning and afternoon sessions under the leadership of instructor, Bongani Bila.
Bila is a former soccer fitness instructor and founder of the club.
Bila said he has been an instructor for the past three years before he started his own club.
“The club started with fewer people, but I was never discouraged.
“Exercising is good for your body to fight diseases, detox and gain fitness and muscle.
“We have a variety of activities including planks, squats, push-ups, aerobics, and sit-ups among others, in order to accommodate everyone,” explains Bila.
Wendy Zulu said she has been with the club for three months and the results were already showing.
“There are activities which are still hard to perform such as push-ups and sit-ups, but I am getting there,”said Zulu.
“We urge residents to join us every morning from 6am to 7.30am and in the afternoon from 5pm to 6pm,” said Zulu.
Anyone wanting to join the club should contact Bila on 067 8584 635.
