Highlands Park will have a well-deserved break and will only be back in action on September 22, when they travel to KwaZulu-Natal where they have a tough date against Golden Arrows.
Comfortably seated in position seven of the Absa Premiership after four matches, the home team has so far collected five points and will be looking to improve their ranking and climb a step up the ladder.
They will travel to Arrows with their heads held high following their impressive goalless draw against Limpopo-based Polokwane City when they met for the first leg of the MTN 8 semi-final encounter at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.
The two teams were meeting for the first time ever in a cup competition and will meet again on September 24 at Highlands Park’s slaughter house, the Makhulong Stadium.
Highlands Park booked a passage to the semis after their historic victory against Soweto giants Orlando Pirates when they met a fortnight ago.
