Judokas win medals at inter-club tournament

Two have been selected to represent Ekurhuleni Judo Association.

Several students from Freestyle Judo Ritoru Tatsu Fight Club SA (Ritoru Tatsu Kempton Park Judo Club) took part in the Ekurhuleni Judo Association inter-club tournament and trials in Germiston, where they received medals.

Anika Cloete (advanced 10 years u-32kg) gold, Chantelle Cloete (advanced masters 35-39 u-63kg) gold; Cayden ‘KD’ Keys (novice boys younger u-21kg) fourth; Dewald Keys (advanced masters 30-34 years u-100kg) gold; Casper ‘Henro’ Rossouw (advanced 10 years u-38kg) gold; Shade Smit (advanced group 3 u-63kg) gold; Heinrich Smith (novice boys younger u-22kg) silver; AJ Smith (advanced boys younger u-27kg) gold.

The following judokas were selected to represent Ekurhuleni Judo Association (EJA) at the Masakhane Judo Team Events hosted at Germiston Wrestling Club on September 14: Casper ‘Henro’ Rossouw (EJA group 1 A team) and AJ Smith (EJA group 1 B team).
