Kruger wins Avion monthly contest with 18 fish
The competition took place at the Vaal River
André Kruger won the senior category of Avion Angling Club’s October competition at Rooiwalle Vaal River.
He caught 18 fish weighing 17.26kg). Second was Fanie du Toit (12 fish, 21.64kg) and third Karel Haefele (13 fish, 18.28kg).
The other results were:
Masters: 1. Hannes Goosen (5 fish, 11.39kg). 2. Arrie van Wyk (5 fish, 8.90kg). 3. Phillip van der Westhuizen (6 fish, 7.58kg).
Women: 1. Annelize van der Westhuizen (19 fish, 11.55kg). 2. Madeleine Jonischeit (9 fish, 11.50kg). 3. Marelize van der Westhuizen (5 fish, 5.70kg).
Juniors: 1. Ryno Kruger (13 fish, 10.78kg).
Penkoppe: 1. Michael du Toit (13 fish, 18.96kg).
