Unmasked Payne ready for a nightmare

While preparing for the collision tour, Payne must also defend his title against Ricci Louw

Kempton Park resident and current Honour Wrestling Association (HWA) world champion, Hector Payne, who has recently been unmasked, is celebrating over 170 days as world champion – one of the longest reigns in HWA history.

Payne has successfully defended his title since May this year in Ellisras, Koster, Roodepoort, Bothaville and Benoni to name a few. Although fights only take place in South Africa, the title is recognised as a world title.

He is currently preparing for the upcoming AWA vs TSW: Collision Tour, that will take place at Carnival City on November 1.

Payne will be involved in a tag team match along with his partner Freakshow against AWA cruiser weight champion Little Hillbilly and his partner Nightmare.

Payne and Nightmare have been involved in a long-term feud that has escalated since Payne defeated Nightmare for the championship in May and a recent victory over Nightmare in a hardcore match that took place in Durban.

While preparing for the collision tour, Payne must also defend his title against Ricci Louw from Bothaville in a rematch. The match will take place October 26 at the Creative Kidz Christmas Market in Alberton.
