Fun walk will raise awareness about HIV/Aids – join them

Registration for the walk and run starts at 6.30am.

Tembisa Social Fun Hub (SFH) is hosting a fun walk/run, netball and soccer tournament at Endulwini 5 grounds on November 30.

The event aims to raise awareness around HIV/Aids and bring together people who are affected and infected by the virus. The event is named My Friend with Aids Is Still My Friend Fun Walk N Fun Run.

Registration for the walk and run starts at 6.30am.

Mduduzi Mazibuko, the organiser, said the distance is 5km. The netball will start at 10am with the soccer following that and dance and musical performances will close the day.

“Registration time for the walk/run is 6am and the fee is R40 for the walk and R80 for the run.

“You can win a medal and prize money. Registration costs for soccer and netball are R150,” said Mazibuko.
