Kempton Park Golf Club has upgraded its facilities and boasts the best greens on the East Rand.
This is according to Anton Potgieter, executive committee member in charge of marketing.
“The new committee’s commitment is to offer all our members and visitors a pleasant experience at our club, thanks to the efforts and changes brought in,” said Potgieter.
Potgieter said the new course management team’s commitment and hard work has resulted in “the best greens on the East Rand and all golfers, including visitors, have been raving about this.
“We aim to attract more visitors and offer great deals during the week for you to come and meet our great team.”
“Since the recent robbery on the course, we have fixed the weak links in the fence and have appointed better security to monitor the property.”
As to their menu and social offers, Potgieter recommends their Captain’s Special, which is said to have attracted visitors from as far as Pretoria. This delicious steak and extras cost only R60.
A range of drinks are offered at highly affordable prices and the club’s Joker Draw for R10 a draw (or a free draw with the Captain’s Special), has become popular among guests on Wednesdays at 6pm. The committee, along with the club’s staff, ensure an atmosphere which assures that new visitors want to come back for more.
