As this tremendously challenging year for school children winds down, Champions Cricket Club recently held its 2019/20 junior club awards.

The online awards ceremony was a first for the Champions Cricket Club and formalities ensued without one single glitch, said Vincent Topotsa, the club’s captain.

The club thanked the Eastern Cricket Union for a successful season and Curro Serengeti for making its facilities available to the club.

Topotsa said the club’s junior trial date will be communicated once the Easterns Cricket Union has issued a statement regarding the new season trial period.
