Edgcumbe, who races in the 10 to 13 expert girls division, shared her excitement: “The SA Champs were fun and challenging.

“I am proud of myself, my parents, team, and coach. This year’s performance was my best. Racing against boys on club level and in Gauteng races has made me faster and tougher, so I am not intimidated when I race against girls,” she said.
