The circus is back in town as from tomorrow

The circus has pitched its tent in Van Riebeeck Park

McLaren Circus will visit Kempton Park from October 13 to 18 with its all new 10th anniversary show.

The circus has pitched its tent on the open field at the intersection of De Wiekus and Christoffel streets in Van Riebeeck Park.

McLaren’s 10th anniversary show is their biggest, strongest and most spectacular programme to date.

On the programme are many international acts, including Miss Cassandra Stone on the Spanish rope, amazing chair balancing by Gilberto, acrobatics by the Tanzanian Boys, contortion by the lovely Miss Charne, mouth balancing by circus legend Mademoiselle Francisca, and the death-defying double globe of death by the multi-award winning, world renowned Varanne Globe Riders from South America.

Not forgetting their beautiful animals, there will also be a mixed caged act with Bengal tigers, a rare white Bengal tiger, African lionesses and rare white lions presented by America’s Casey McCoy.

Other animal acts include poodles, Arabian camels, miniature horses, ponies, Friesian horses and Burmese pythons.

Ticket prices range from R80 to R130.
