Indian shopping festival returns to Golf Reef City

Tickets cost R10 a person and are available at the door

With its sixth run in three years, Flavours of India, the largest Indian/eastern shopping festival, will return to Gold Reef City from April 14 to May 2.

Guests can look forward to mouth-watering Indian cuisine, flamboyant traditional fashion and exquisite jewellery, gadgets for the household and live entertainment daily.

Flavours of India is an explosion of taste, colour, scent and touch, where visitors will be enchanted by an eastern inspired extravaganza of traditional Indian song and dance.

The fair can accommodate thousands of visitors a day with over 45 stalls to explore. Guests can also indulge in popular Indian dishes, from the classic Durban bunny chow to spicy pineapples, fried mealies, burgers and hot dogs. Traditional Indian curries and spicy nibbles are also set to tantalise the taste buds.

Tickets cost R10 a person and are available at the door for the festival that is set to start at 11am every day.
