Dora The Explorer sets sail for Emperors Palace

Dora’s Pirate Adventure is an interactive musical stage show that will take children on a voyage of discovery

Nickelodeon (DStv channel 305), one of the leading entertainment brands for children and families, has teamed up with Life Like Touring and Blu Blood to bring pre-school heroine and intrepid adventuress, Dora the Explorer and her friends, to South Africa shores.

Dora the Explorer Live! Dora’s Pirate Adventure will be performed in the Theatre of Marcellus at Emperors Palace from July 7-12.

Families and children are invited to join Dora and her pals Boots and Diego on a voyage of discovery as they embark on an exciting trip to Treasure Island in search of the ultimate pirate party.

Help them navigate over the Dancing Mountain and through the Silly Singing Bridge in pursuit of the Pirate Piggies. Along the way, Dora the Explorer fans will use their map-reading, counting, musical and language skills to successfully help Dora reach Treasure Island and avoid that pesky fox, Swiper!

Dora the Explorer live stage shows have enjoyed success around the world and have now been seen by more than four million people, including audiences in Australia, the United Kingdom, Egypt, Kuwait, Russia, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Singapore and New Zealand.

Tickets are priced from R185 a person, with free access for kids under the age of one year. Group discounts are available for parties of five or more.

For bookings, contact the Emperors Palace Box Office on 011-928-1297/1213 or visit www.computicket.com or call 0861 915 8000.
