Germiston Lake Park will be lit on Saturday with over 10 000 young revelers expected to flock into the park for the musical festivities at the Ekurhuleni Youth Festival.

The festival’s big stage will make way for some of the well-known chat topping musicians bred in Ekurhuleni such as Kwesta, Dj Mshega, Dj Shimza, The Muffins, Reason and Dj Sbu.

Other well-known musos set to grace the festival include Cassper Nyovest, M-Tee, Nathi (Nomvula) and Ricky Rick.

The City will provide buses from all customer care centres at 10am to Germiston Lake.

Entrance is free and cooler boxes are allowed but bottles will not be allowed into the venue.

The festival will kick off at noon.
