The youth of Tembisa has a potential to perfect their art and perform on world stages
Talented Tembisa youth is going to amaze the world with South African traditional dance moves.
Taxido Arts Productions Company spokesperson Aubrey Metsing said the Arts Productions Company is setting off to Italy to honour an invitation extended to them by the International Council of Organisations of Folklore Festivals And Folk Art.
“We are going to represent South Africa in Italy in a folklore festival on the 24th of July to the 29th of August 2017. Our performance will be staged in Matelica, Cori, Taurano and Aviano. We are going there driven by passion and we are going to do what we love. We believe that everything is possible as long as you put your mind to it,” said Metsing.
He said the youth of Tembisa has a potential to perfect their art and perform on world stages.

“It doesn’t matter how great your idea is if you do not put it into practice no one will notice and it will lead you to substance abuse and criminal activities.
If the youth in the Taxido Arts Productions Company can impress audiences as far as Italy so can you. Stand up and build your future”.
He said hard work and consistency are the main aspects of success.
“A lot of people believe that there is no talent and skill in Tembisa which is a myth. There is talent in Tembisa and we are the living proof.
I am looking forward to showcasing Kasi talent, learning different cultures and mostly establishing good contacts through networking”.
He said they are eager to change negative perceptions on the Township’s image and they hope to inspire upcoming artists to bring change to Tembisa.
“Taxido Arts Productions Company comprise of five Tembisa artists and the rest of the members are from Katlehong.
Kgadi Motsoane, Aubrey Metsing, Kenneth Mphahlele, Micca Manganye and Tumelo Molefe will represent Tembisa in Italy.
