Tembisa’s DJ Gibbz releases his second single
This single comes after the success of his 2016 single Swa Mina Swa Wena
BGMP Records proudly present Tzaneen DJ Gibbz’ second single titled Kuhle which features Sibahle on vocals. It is taken from the upcoming album titled Brewed.
This single comes after the success of his 2016 single Swa Mina Swa Wena which is still making headlines on several South African radio stations.
DJ Gibbz is a young man who originally hails from Joppie Village under N’wamitwa Traditional Authority outside Tzaneen in Limpopo Province but is currently based in Tembisa.
DJ Gibbz has worked with many underground producers before, the likes of K’zela & Stylish DJ, Jay Tomson (Ghana), Kowkie, Sibahle, MellowMusiQue, Tour Masters, DJ Nascent, Objektives, N Squared, Bee Zee Bee, DJ Press, DJ Gigigi, Sweet Rain, Justine Time, Wonga, Nhonkie, DJ Mighty-Mu, DJ CoolDogg, DJ Lesh SA, DJ Andrew and DJ Schillachi just to name a few.
Judging from his extensive range of influences, it’s no wonder he is still going strong even today.
He is always making sure that he brings new stuff and styles which makes his music unique and unpredictable.
This is a ‘concept single’ of original music, fronted by DJ Gibbz, which fuses the very popular house sounds of today with African elements.
A unique flavour and texture – it is something new, and recognizable – certainly very danceable and appealing (judging from both radio and public responses to date).
This project is considered a new and important benchmark in the Afro House Music Scene because of its different style.
This tune is layered with African rhythms and drums which can make ‘house heads’ go wild on the dance floor. DJ Gibbz, DJ Gigigi & Sibahle did an outstanding job on the vocals for the song.
They did craft lyrics that are easy to sing along to which sit comfortably over the captivating Afro Instrumentals which are tied together by the skilful production of the highly regarded DJ Gibbz.
The message of the song is very loud and clear. Kuhle means ‘beauty’ in Zulu.
It talks about the love which other couples have shared since they met.
The song itself is extremely catchy because of its content and melodic arrangement.

DJ Gibzz acquired his music production knowledge from his childhood friends in 2006 – Dj Gigigi, Dj Andrew, Dj Schillachi, Tour Masters & Mc Rhusta who are all based in Tzaneen.
In late 2007, he decided to start his production company Bra Gibbz Music Production/ BGMP Records/ BGMP Media Group.
He has established this record label in order to pursue his business interests in music and to create jobs for himself and other youths from different communities around South Africa.
A diverse character with many talents, Dj Gibbz is the founder, DJ, author, marketing manager, graphic designer and serves as the executive producer of the company as well.
He used to host a show called Bra Gibbz Taxi Music online at Afrodeep Radio based in the United Kingdom (UK) where he showcased his musical talents – from production, mixing and compiling underground tunes – to listeners every Saturday between 9 pm to 11 pm South African time.
He had to leave the show to focus on his studies.
