WATCH: Mrs World finalists treated before their big night on Saturday

The Mrs World delegates arrived on December 9 for the prestigious Mrs World Pageant at Emperors Palace on Saturday.

South Africans welcomed representatives from different countries from all over the world at OR Tambo International Airport.

In celebration of Oliver Reginald Tambo’s 100 years, the City of Ekurhuleni, alongside the city’s mayoress, Sinazo Masina and MMC Khosi Mabaso hosted the contestants, the Mrs World staff and the president of Mrs World, David Marmell, to their beautiful city for a heritage tour at the Chris Hani Memorial, Walk of Remembrance and OR Tambo Cultural Precinct, which gave the delegates an insight of the South African history and the roles Chris Hani and OR Tambo played in South Africa.

Reigning Mrs World Gulliana Zevallos and the delegates also visited the Lion and Safari lion park and the Lesedi Cultural Village for a distinctive wildlife and tourism experience.

Mrs South Africa Nicole Capper will be on stage competing for the Mrs World title.
