The events host a mix of some of South Africa’s best musical talents, both established and up-and-coming.
The Saturday Social Club is getting ready for its second installation featuring Fokofpolisiekar, Sweet Resistance, 4AM and Six String Stories on June 9 at the Red Roman Shed at Emperors Palace.
The Saturday Social Club is a new series of music concerts taking place throughout the year at the Red Roman Shed.
Presented by Rush Productions, the events will host a mix of some of South Africa’s best musical talents, both established and up-and-coming.
“These shows promise to be an amazing music experience in a socially friendly space,” said Nic Rush, Rush Productions MD and event organiser. There’s nothing quite like a great rock show and we’re excited to grow this brand and showcase some of the best SA music heavyweights with some of the top up-and-comings.”
The third show line-up on August 4 has been altered slightly with The Narrow continuing as headliners, but Wonderboom replaces CrashCarBurn. Newtown Knife Gang and S.D.O. will also perform on the night.
Tickets cost R250 and are available through Computicket or the Emperors Palace Box Office.
Doors open at 5pm and the show starts at 7pm. Food and beverage stalls are available at the venue.
