Allow ‘Ons Lieflinge’ to tug at your heart strings

Tickets cost R100 and are available through Computicket.

Their music tugs at the heartstrings and carries feel-good messages of love, romance, inspiration and Christianity.

On June 9, Rudi Claase and Charne Hugo, better known as Ons Lieflinge, will perform at Carnival City’s Mardi Gras Theatre at 7.30pm.

One of just a few very popular duo-pairs, Ons Lieflinge deliver powerful music and have gained a massive following and loads of fans.

Their latest double-platinum selling album Asemrowend consists of two discs, one Afrikaans and one English.

Claase started the Ons Lieflinge concept over 10 years ago, initially partnering with popular female vocalist, Corlea. After the release of two CDs, the two parted ways and Rudi then partnered with Zita. The pair released just one album and then they also parted.

Finding the perfect singing partner is not an easy task, but clearly Claase’s partnership with Hugo has been worth the wait.

Tickets cost R100 and are available through Computicket.
