Youngsters on stage at Germiston Theatre

The two-week long production seeks to instill enthusiasm and create actors and directors out of young aspirant artists

The stage is set for young people to showcase their theatrical craft at Germiston Theatre during the Let’s Do the Time Warp Again production which opened on June 21.

The two-week long production seeks to instill enthusiasm and create actors and directors out of young aspirant artists by exposing them to theatre production.

“The production is about a loving couple who set out on a journey to go and meet their former science teacher, but on the way they get a flat tyre and find themselves seeking help at a creepy castle,” said Themba Gadebe, metro spokesperson.

The dates and times for the production are:

June 21 at 7pm, June 22 at 7pm, June 23 at 2pm and 7pm, June 24 at 2pm, June 29 at 7pm, June 30 at 2pm and 7pm, July 1 at 2pm.

The entrance fee is R120 and tickets are available at the door.
