Nothing to stop TomyV from achieving greatness

Thomas Sibusiso Mthembu (29), popularly known as TomyV, aims to take the country by storm with the album he is presently producing. The new songs in the album include, among others, Umuntu Wakho and Lefatshe.

The young musician is versatile, with a diversity of genres.
He was born in Soweto but grew up in Alexandra, later moving to Tembisa after serving a prison term.
Tomy V, also a producer, has featured in different artists’ singles.

Apart from music production, TomyV does voluntarily work for an organisation called Makukhanye. He raises awareness about alcohol and drug abuse.
TomyV has released singles online which are downloadable on the Internet. He has appeared in various television stations including e.tv. His first single is titled Ndiza Kuwe Ufuna Imali Yami.
He is a solo artist but works with various artists. He has performed in media and social platforms such as Busy Corner (Imbizo) in Ebony Park.
In his music journey, TomyV has learned valuable lessons. He considers himself more matured in decision-making.
TomyV said working with his producer, Jack Mojapelo, has seen him mature in his approach to his profession, and this has helped to improve the quality of his music.
