Sweet Love is CashTmo’s new single

Kasi DJ aims for more collaborations.

Born Tumelo Molemane, 23-year-old house music producer and DJ from Ivory Park Extension 15, Tembisa, is known to his fans as CashTmo.

He started producing music in 2013, but his love of DJing began in 2016 after he released his first single Joy with Refilwe Lethabo.

He recently released a song with Moyah titled Sweet Love. The song was well received by fans, being played on various radio stations.

The song is about a couple who are having doubts about each other as their love is tested by the distance between them.

Since releasing his first single, he has managed to work with prominent people in the industry, like Raphael Ngove (Infinity Boys), Unicraft, Moyah, Tee Freeze and Gimbos.

He has shared the stage and clubs with the likes of AB Crazy and PS DJz.

Having graduated from Pioneer DJ Institute, CashTmo said his love for music grew from watching other artists he perceives as his icons.

“I grew up listening to Mandoza, Oskido and others and always wanted to make my own music.”

After sitting down with his fellow DJ and producer Thakzin, he was motivated to start producing music. It has been an exciting experience for him because he worked mostly with his friends in the industry.

“The secret to making a good collaboration is getting along with the person you are working with. Music is a long-term product. Being able to form a good connection of personalities between you and the person you are collaborating with automatically makes the song nice,” he continued.

He plans to branch out by collaborating with other artists, such as Da Capo, Prince Bulo, Caiiro, Toshi and Msaki. He also plans to tour the country, doing what he loves.
